INTRODUCTION TO THE TBLOCK SYSTEM

The TBLOCK system has evolved by studying existing solutions that have a proven track record in coastal and sea defences, improving these processes and delivering a more cost effective and practical system.

Research work began over 20 years ago in 1984, and has since continued to develop engineering solutions for sea, land and water issues.

TBLOCK creates a mass concrete structure, which interlocks with adjoining TBLOCKs by a cut out down opposite vertical corners.

Alan Thompson, a chartered engineer (MIMech E), with a background in product development and supporting areas with a number of blue-chip companies in the UK, is the creator of the TBLOCK system.

The TBLOCK system has been developed to offer an alternative engineering solution for sea defence and coast protection problems at a time when global warming and climate change offers new challenges to Engineers.
